Know what the tools can do. Standard PDF forms and added annotations are supported. Existing PDF text replacement, XFA-only forms, password-locked files and digitally signed files need conversion or a specialist editor. Password-free forms that permit filling, such as I-864, use compatibility mode. Compression can reduce readability and may miss your target.
